Chavez Concrete was established in 1952 by Ed Z. Chavez. Incorporated in 1970, Ed Z. turned the main operation of the business over to his sons. President Edward G. Chavez and Vice President Robert F. Chavez. Ed Chavez joined the firm in 1960 after service in the U.S. Air Force and Bob Chavez joined the firm in 1965.

Today the company continues to profit from Ed Z.'s wisdom,knowledge ,and expertise. Steady and controlled growth in an expanding market has propelled this family business into greater prominence with each passing year. The successful operation of a family owned and operated business since 1952 is cause for justifiable pride.

A third generation, the sons of Ed and Bob, Dan and Mark Chavez, are now involved in the family business. Such sustained continuity demonstrated the dedication to service that is the watchword of this energetic firm. Much of our success stems from the long experience of our employees, some with as much as 30 years of dedicated service to the firm.

Our plan for the future is to continue to produce quality concrete work for the greater Albuquerque market, on schedule, and as specified. We know our capabilities and will stay within the niche we know best but always striving to be on the cutting edge of new and innovating work. The production of foundations, slabs, previous concrete, stamp concrete, for commercial, industrial, and residential construction.
