Through its sister company, Chavez Concrete Pumping, the company sources its own concrete pumps and Telebelts, so it is never at the mercy of others. Strong relationships with vendors and suppliers are why Chavez prides itself on loyalty.

Site Work

Chavez Concrete self-performs all scopes relative to site work and structural concrete.

Chavez owns two laser screeds, one large and one compact, delivering high volume without giving up accuracy or production. That combination is where the company excels: complex angles, pitches, and grade changes, mirrored directly to the survey point plan.

In the summer of 2021, Chavez Concrete set a New Mexico record by placing 2,652 yards across 106,000 SF in a single overnight pour for Werner Enterprises, using the latest 3D surveying software with its laser screeds.

Chavez also owns and operates a curb machine on larger projects, cutting schedule and driving productivity.

Additional scopes include stamped concrete, site wall footings, concrete rundowns, and valley gutters.

About Our Company

Chavez Concrete is a turnkey concrete contractor serving Albuquerque and surrounding areas across New Mexico. We pride ourselves on state-of-the-art equipment, and the use of technology runs throughout the company.

Each foreman is equipped with an iPad and access to the software he needs to pull up plans, issue RFIs, and email direct from the field.

Our capabilities include layout and survey equipment, a sister company (Chavez Pumping) with 12 concrete pumps and a Telebelt, a PowerCurber slipform machine for larger curb and gutter work, Somero laser screeds in both large and compact line, and 3D profiling software that lets us place up to 100,000 SF in a single night. We also maintain over 10,000 SF of Symons forms.
